Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Date Mode app, made by VIRAL APP DEV LLC ("we", "us"). By using Date Mode you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Using Date Mode

• You need an account, and you're responsible for keeping it secure.
• Date Mode is a tool you and your partner both choose to use. Only pair with someone who agrees to it, and don't use it to monitor or pressure anyone.
• Don't upload anything illegal or anything you don't have the right to share.

What the lock does

Date Mode blocks the apps you choose using Apple's Screen Time on iPhone, or the Accessibility Service on Android. Calls, emergency services and some system features stay available, and you can always unlock early from the app. Blocking depends on your phone's operating system, so we can't guarantee every app or situation is covered. Don't rely on Date Mode where missing a notification could cause harm.

Subscriptions

• Some features need a subscription. Prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
• One subscription covers you and your current partner in Date Mode. If you unpair, your new partner is covered instead.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app or your Date Mode account doesn't cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Your content

Photos, notes and anything else you add stay yours. You let us store them and show them to you and the partner you shared the date with, only so the app can work. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers

Date Mode is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Date Mode after that means you accept the new terms.
